Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. General Principles

• Applies to bookings made directly with Njeri Africa Tours.
• All requests must be submitted in writing to info@njeriafricatours.co.za.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

2. Cancellation by Traveller

• More than 30 days before departure: 80% refund of total tour cost.
• 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of total tour cost.
• 14 days or less before departure: no refund available.
• Non-refundable deposits (if applicable) will be retained.

3. Cancellation by Njeri Africa Tours

If a tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. safety concerns, government restrictions), customers will be offered:

• A full refund, or
• The option to reschedule or exchange for another tour of equal value.

4. Exchanges

• Requests must be submitted at least 14 days before departure.
• Subject to availability of alternative tours or dates.
• New booking must be of equal or greater value; differences must be paid by the traveller.
• Lower-value exchanges are permitted, but no refunds will be issued for the difference.

5. Restrictions

• No cancellations or exchanges permitted within 14 days of departure.
• Promotional or discounted bookings may not be eligible.
• Flights, visas, insurance and third-party services are excluded.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

In cases of medical emergencies or force majeure events, Njeri Africa Tours may, at its discretion, provide partial refunds, credits or flexible exchange options.
